The online application form for the 10th Challenge Roth on July 10, 2011 has been activated.

A total of 3,600 start places
Next year there will be a total of 3,600 places for individual starters, since in the past few years experience has shown that 30.5 per cent of the athletes who have signed up for the race cancel their application. This means that 2,500 athletes will ultimately take part in the competition.

Contingents for German and foreign participants
As usual there will again be two different contingents for foreign and German starters.

The German contingent comprises a total of 2,200 start places. At the Winners’ Award Ceremony on Monday as many as 660 places were already booked by participants of the 2010 race. So there are still 1,540 start places available for German athletes.

The contingent for foreign athletes comprises a total of 1,400 start places, 25 of which have already been booked at the Winners’ Award Ceremony. So 1,375 places are still available.

IMPORTANT NOTE: As soon as one of the two contingents is booked up, the online application for this contingent will be closed. It will not be possible to sign in for the other contingent.

Application for relay teams
A total of 600 start places are available for relay teams, but 283 of them were already booked at the Winners’ Award Ceremony. So 317 tickets for next year’s race are still available. There will be no different contingents for the relay competition.
