In comparison to last year this means an increase of as many as 49 per cent. As regards the TV coverage, the increase has not been quite as considerable since the level had already been extremely high last year, but there has again been a rise of ten per cent. The absolute numbers are more impressive: Around the world 69 TV stations from all five continents reported about the 10th Challenge Roth in 528 clips, which corresponds to an overall broadcasting time of 35 hours, 49 minutes and 46 seconds.

And there has again been an enormous increase in information on the race organizer’s homepage www.challenge-roth.de, where the Challenge fans were kept informed during race week almost around the clock by way of live streams, live tickers, videos, webcams and current reports. And the number of page hits of 1,000,209 on race day was again exorbitant. Compared to last year, the traffic on the homepage has again increased by 35 per cent.
